Joseph Anthony Mantegna, Jr. (natural November 13, 1947) is an American actor.

Natural around Chicago, Illinois to an Italian-American family, he made his acting debut in the 1969 stage production of Hair.

Mantegna married Arlene Vrhel (December 3, 1975-present). It keep around ii tykes.

He debuted in Broadway in Working (1978). He as well helped write Bleacher Bums, an award-winning play. He won the Tony award for his portrayal of Richard Roma within David Mamet's play Glengarry Glen Ross.

He processed his feature motion picture debut in Medusa Challenger (1977). He played womanizing tooth doctor Bruce Fleckstewithin in Compromising Positions (1985). More early motion picture include co-starring roles in The Money Pit (1986), Weeds (1987) and Suspect (1987). He besides starred in the critically acclaimed movies House of Games (1987) and Things Change (1988), for which he and co-star Don Ameche both received a Better Actor Award at the Venice Film Festival. Within 1991, Mantegna starred in the highly praised police force thriller Homicide. He as well has the revenant role in the alive series The Simpsons as mob boss Anthony "Fat Tony" D'Amico. Joe Mantegna received a Lifetime Achievement Award in April 26, 2004, at the Los Angeles Italian Film Festival.
